Okay, so to kick off the arrival (if I can work up the courage) of my fanfics/ other writings I may so possess, I would like to challenge my watchers to a little contest...
You don't have to participate if you don't want to, but it is highly recommended that you do...

Rules/Regulations for contest:

1) you must write a fanfic concerning your favorite two characters from any anime... you are allowed to add OC's as you wish (Thanx for the reminder, Miss Yami!!! )... if I don't know the anime, then please provide an explanation of the series and why the two in the pair are such a great match-up... ( I've seen Yugioh and Fullmetal Alchemist, so everything ELSE needs an explanation...) You're allowed to mix and match characters from the animes if you want, (cause I know how much fun that can be... XD) but the same rules apply...

2)it must be at LEAST two pages long in order to be accepted... for those of you who use Word, this is about 1775+ words long... You are allowed to make it as lengthy as you wish, just as long as it's over that minimum...

3)It must have meat, meaning it has details describing the characters, the places around the characters, and anything ELSE that might need to be described in the story.

4) scripts and/or dialogue entries will not be accepted... this is made to make you think, write a story as if it were to be published in a book, and make your creative juices flow... for some of you, this isn't hard, but for others, keep working!!!

5) the deadline for the contest is December 31st, at 6:00 pm... but, because Sredit needs an extension, does the first of May sound okay??? Hey, that rhymes!!! ^^

6) it does NOT need to be written in English, but if you decide to submit an entry in another language, please state the language so I know what to translate it from... ^^'

7) it can be of any genre, but Yaoi/Yuri entries will immediately be deleted... meaning that anything except those two will actually stand a chance in this contest... Reason being, I've seen one too many fanfics concerning two guys/girls screwing each other, and would really enjoy seeing something new. I don't have anything against that sorta stuff, but it does get a little old after a while. ^^'

8) if you decide to post your entry in your gallery, please provide me with a link so that I may see it... I'm not going to have time to search through everyone's galleries hunting down contest entries...

9) because I'm such a nice person, i will extend the deadline if you ask... but I won't extend it to the end of next year, mainly because it does NOT take a fifteen months to write a fanfic...

Prizes:

1st place: a fanfic written by me, concerning the winner's favorite anime characters, assuming I'm provided with a worthy explanation of the anime in order to do so...

2nd place: a fanfic, written by me, concerning my two favorite characters, Yami and Yugi(from Yugioh, obviously... )

3rd place: a poem that I wrote just last night that will, and possibly from the time you get it to forever, scare you senseless... Trust me: that's how cool it is... ^^
